Zihua Factory, July 14th-The air in Zihua Factory was filled with the sweet fragrance of fruit and the sound of lively laughter as the "Fruits Abound, Future Beckons" Fruit Picking and Tree Adoption Event hosted by Torch Electron commenced as scheduled. Despite the light drizzle, the enthusiasm of representatives from various Torch Electron departments, alongside colleagues from the group and sister companies, remained undimmed.
Since the fruits first began to ripen, sweet mangoes have periodically appeared as delightful "seasonal surprises" during lunchtimes in the company cafeterias. This initiative stands as another testament to how Torch Electron's environmental development efforts directly benefit its employees. This event transformed that sweet enjoyment and sense of belonging into a responsibility for safeguarding the company grounds. While carefully harvesting the fruit, participants also took ownership by meticulously cleaning the site and removing all waste, actively nurturing the environment through their actions.
The joy of harvesting was soon followed by an even more meaningful moment: the official launch of the Tree Adoption program. Ms. Hong, Chairwoman of the Torch Electron Labor Union, formally introduced the Torch Electron Zihua Factory Tree Adoption Convention. She emphasized the importance of collective effort from all departments in scientifically nurturing their adopted trees, transforming these "Department Trees" into "Trees of Growth" that embody team spirit. As nameplates engraved with department names were securely fastened to the trees, each fruit tree instantly gained its "guardians." From now until next summer, the adopting teams will actively participate in the trees' growth cycles through company-organized collective care activities, including fertilizing and pruning.
The rain-refreshed Zihua Factory radiated renewed vitality. The transition from being beneficiaries to active participants, symbolized by each adoption plaque and every adopted tree, powerfully conveys the philosophy of "Growing Together, Harvesting Together." We are confident that the journey towards building a century-old Torch will be steadier and more resilient, nourished by the vitality of this very green space.
